Radar Detector And Jammer
Do radar detectors always help you avoid a ticket?
Say your radar detector had a laser detector and laser jammer. Say you’re on a long straight road and an officer detects you or you round a corner, would you be able to avoid being found out?
Under what situations would the radar detector fail at protecting you from a ticket?
Thank you officers of the law and such. Please answer the question and nothing else. I understand that these detectors / jammers are illegal in some states and I have no intention on breaking any of them. I have very much respect for the law enforcement officers and drive as safely as possible on a day to day basis and don’t EVER speed. But I just have questions of the usefulness of radar detectors.
We give out more than just speeding tickets 
But back to speeding. At my department we visually estimate and pace in addition to the use of radar and laser.
