how likely are cops to use laser gun vs radar?
Im thinking about buying a radar detector and i dont have enough for a laser detection setting (not like they do much anyway considering lasers detect in like 2 seconds), but i was wondering how often police use laser vs radar? Is it even worth it to consider buying a radar detector? I have 5 points (1 ticket) and i cant afford another ticket.
The best idea is – for you to SLOW DOWN.
Laser/lidar is still not very common; most departments still use radar.
That being said, I can lock on a vehicle’s speed within 2 seconds – much quicker than you can respond to your detector’s warning….. and that’s 5-year-old radar technology.
